'Hello From Earth' is a graduation film from students at Edinburgh Napier University. The film follows a middle aged couple that live in the wilderness as they attempt to send a rocket to the Gliese system, a nearby planetary system that could potentially have intelligent lifeforms, in the hope they will be the first to make contact with aliens.

Helen and Bill are a middle aged couple who live in an isolated house by the sea, they have lived here for many years and the lack of contact to the real world has meant that the isolation has begun to shape their characters and beliefs. Without regular contact to society any irrational ideas that they foster have tended to grow, leaving them with a deeply unique and warped personal world.



Hello from Earth will follow the couple as they embark on the construction and launch of a rocket to an alien planet. The rocket is too small to carry much and the couple struggle as they try to sum up their lives with only a handful of items.
